71st Annual Tony Awards Predictions

The Tony Awards are right around the corner, and since I actually made it down to New York before nomination season, it's high time for another round of "predict the nominees!"

This year's Best Musical category sports some fantastic original pieces, from the adaptation of Tolstoy's War and Piece, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, to the supposed front runner, Dear Evan Hansen, to the dark horse sleeper hit about decency and acceptance in the face of terror, Come From Away. We may even see some great movie adaptations make the short list in musicals like Anastasia and Groundhog Day.

The Tony Award nominations will be announced Tuesday, May 3rd.
The 71st Annual Tony Award ceremony is Sunday, June 11th at 8:00pm on CBS.
